OCR’s first e-portfolio-only qualification
OCR’s first qualification to be entirely assessed electronically.
All iMedia units purchased from 1 March 2007 are e-portfolio only and from 1 June 2007 all units submitted for moderation will be e-portfolio only.
iMedia MAPS e-portfolio allows learners to upload and submit their work, the e-portfolio then allows tutors and assessment personnel to view, mark and moderate it.
e-portfolios enable learners to create media-rich portfolios with images, sound and video. The content of an e-portfolio can then be shared with others. They can be searched and viewed from difference perspectives and enable learners to access their work at any time.
Partner wins award at BETT 2007
OCR partner TAG Learning scooped the e-assessment for Learning award at BETT 2007, thanks to its MAPS eQualifications product.
The product is an exciting development in the world of assessment which allows students to submit a wide range of file types. It allows students to push the boundaries and really show their flair and imagination.
OCR is working with TAG Learning to use its award-winning software on with the CLAiT and iMedia e-portfolios.
